Salsa Fusion workshops are devoted to Tika’s love of Cuban dance,music, and culture.
This workshop centers around the movements that inform Salsa Cubana. We will work with Cuban Folkloric dance and then move toward Salsa Suelta, a non-partnering style featured most often in clubs.
Workshops begin with body alignment, isolations, core work, and stretching, followed by choreography that builds in tempo and brings together the music
and basic steps of popular and folkloric dance that inform Cuban Salsa, connecting dancers with rhythm and culture. Thursday nights are Intermediate / Open Level
