“These Live classes are such a gift! My home is transformed into a dance studio and I am inspired by Tika’s divine feminine energy, and her passion for embodiment and expression. Thank you.” Sunshine C
IN PERSON WORKSHOPS
Dance Fusion Choreo is Tika’s latest creation—a dynamic, two-hour workshop that is technical, rhythmic, and sensual. Deeply rooted in culture and the value of technique, we begin by working across the floor with fundamental alignment and body isolations to build toward choreography. Honoring the African diaspora in all its iterations throughout the Americas and the Caribbean, Tika has a unique gift for putting you right inside the music, guiding you to connect with its power, find your edge, and dance a bigger dance.
dance mission theater
It is a great pleasure to create workshops for us to come together at Dance Mission. DMT is a unique and community based space that has been bringing people together for 50 years and is deeply socially conscious to the core. Hope to see you dancing there!
